Meet our amazing optometrist
Dr. Dana Howard was born and raised in the Houston area. She is a proud fightin' Texas Aggie where she earned a degree in biology. She continued her education at the University of Houston, College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2008. During her studies, she completed three internships and trained under highly skilled ocular surgeons, ophthalmologist and optometrists. Dr. Dana Howard and her husband Dr. Jesse Howard have been married since 2008 and live in the Rice Military area with their son’s age 5 and 2.
Fun Facts about Dr Howard: She loves coffee, dark chocolate and wine!! Her family is really big into water sports - wakeboarding, skiing, wake surfing and canoeing. She is a regular Canyon Creek and connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies!!
Dr. Nancy Heine is a transplant to Texas. She is from a small town in South Dakota and graduated cum laude from South Dakota State University. Dr. Heine then moved to Houston to attend University of Houston where she graduated with her doctorate of optometry in 2008. During her studies, she received 2 letters of clinical excellence and completed a vigorous internship at the VA in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Heine owned and practiced at Lakeside Eye Associates in west Houston for the past 10 years and looks forward to continue providing quality eye care at MPV.
Dr. Heine is a current member of the Texas Optometry Association and the American Optometry Association. She currently resides in the Oak Forest neighborhood with her wife Hatti and 3 year old son.
Fun Facts about Dr. Heine: She has 9 siblings, likes to bake, loves to cheer for the 'Stros, Coogs, and Texans, you'll find her at a comedy club, game, or music venue most weekends.
Dr. Darcy Seaton graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with degrees in Biology and Psychology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 2012, also graduating Summa Cum Laude.
While in optometry school, she received letters of clinical excellence in the ocular disease, primary care, pediatric, and contact lens rotations. She is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the Alpha Chi International Honor Society.
After graduation, Darcy completed her residency in ocular disease at the Eye Center of Texas and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2013. She is a current member of the Texas Optometry Association and Harris County Optometric Society. In her spare time, she loves to travel, paint, and cook and is expecting her first child December 2019.
